Under Spanish and Mexican jurisdictions, instituted in 1778, a vast region that includes Morgan Hill was one of the most substantial Spanish land grants for nearly three quarters of a century. In 1845 Martin Murphy, Sr. acquired 9,000 acres known as the Rancho Ojo de Aqua de la Coche. Murphy had been a leader of the first party of pioneers to cross the Sierra Nevada range at Truckee Pass. The Murphy family made its home in the valley below El Toro Mountain. By 1870 Martin's seven sons and daughters had managed to acquire more than 70,000 acres.

This site leads you to the help of an EBA. We show you all the properties you might want to see, even tenant occupied, probate, foreclosures, REOs, government owned, fixers, bank owned, for sale by owner, VA, HUD, as well as Multiple Listing Service (MLS). Even more important than that, we negotiate on your behalf 100%. First we determine actual market value. We want to save you money, as much as possible.

We give you complete loyalty and maintain the utmost confidentiality. We make sure the property you select is thoroughly inspected. We know you want no surprises after the sale. We discuss investment aspects, including what can be done to improve value for future resale. We also express reasons not to purchase, and we warn you away from bad deals.

EBA's only work with Purchasers, never Sellers.
Statistically about 40% of all real estate purchasers in America use the first agent they meet. We urge you to interview at least 3 agents before choosing one. With some 15,000 plus agents in the local multiple listing system serving the above cities, understandably selecting good brokers is problematic. Choosing an agent who wants to sell you his/her company's listings has its obvious pitfalls. Picking an agent on the basis of their personality is wrong, too. We urge you to choose specialists who will represent you 100%, someone with experience and expertise investing years on the purchaser's side; one who will help you purchase property of your choice, not try to sell you something you don't want, or that you will regret having bought. Very few agents will show you for-sale-by-owners, foreclosures, tenant occupied, distressed houses, and properties where the commission offered by the listing agent is too low. We will show you any of these properties.

When the first Southern Pacific station was built in 1898, the railroad referred to this area as Huntington, but the name changed when visitors would request the train stop at a ranch of the same name.
By the 1920s the City was known for its agricultural products including prunes, apricots, peaches, pears, apples, walnuts, and almonds. The region boasted prosperous vineyards until Prohibition demanded that production temporarily cease.
Around the 1950s the city experienced an economic transformation from an agricultural center to a suburban residential community. Growth began to accelerate rapidly in the 1970s as Silicon Valley developed and workers were attracted to its small town atmosphere, sense of community and reasonable housing prices. Parks and open spaces abound, making it one of the last communities in the region with a charming, small town atmosphere.
For visitors, the city boasts a viable downtown, which includes antique, boutique and specialty stores and a variety of fine restaurants. We are also known throughout the Valley for our wineries that provide tasting of vintage wines, first class golf courses, hot air ballooning and beautiful lakes for hiking, camping and boating.
